At Junction 40, turn towards Penrith Town Centre, passing the North Lakes Hotel on your right (Ullswater Road A592). Continue along past Penrith Railway Station, following the road left at the mini island so you are now heading towards Morrisons Supermarket on your right.

Head down the hill from Morrisons (Brunswick Road) until you pass Bowmans Carpets on the left. Then turn right into Bluebell Lane and the Evergreen Hall is the long low building just in front of you. A small number of free parking places are directly outside the hall. Otherwise, there is an adjacent pay car park or up to 2 hours free at Morrisons, which has a walkway leading down past the Evergreen Hall. Access the building by the kitchen door, which is up the steps in the centre of the building.

Exit Morrisons Supermarket and go straight across at the traffic lights into Briar Bank, passing St. Augustines church on your left. Turn first left into Dene Crescent and you will see St. Marks church hall in front of you - the big white building with the green roof. The entrance is at the far end of the building.

Alternative route from the centre of Carlisle, head North out of the city via Hardwicke Circus, passing the Sands Centre on your right (towards Kingstown, Asda, Junction 44 M6). Stay in the left hand lane over the Eden Bridge until you come to the first set of traffic lights (yellow box junction, pub on the corner called The Crown). Turn left at these traffic lights into Etterby Street.

Continue along, passing Austin Friars School on your right. Immediately after the school, you will see a big pub and a post office on your left. Turn right opposite the post office into Belah Road and continue along, passing the green on your right. Take the second right after the green into Kirkbrae and you will see the church hall in front of you. (car park adjacent) Access from the left of the building.
